A Letter to My Grief
Learning to sit with loss instead of running from it changed everything about how she lived.
Dear Grief, I used to think you were my enemy. I would do anything to avoid you — stay busy, stay loud, stay numb. But you were patient. You waited. And when I finally stopped running and turned to face you, I found that you were not a monster at all. You were love with nowhere to go. You were the proof that what I had lost had mattered. I am learning to carry you differently now — not as a weight, but as a reminder of how deeply I am capable of loving.
